Ok, I'm not exactly an expert on this sort of design, but I must say that it seems to do the trick.
It is smooth and well composed and since I'm generaly a sucker for blue so a you can figure I like it

Anyway, neat wp. Interesting use of your project for the bg shapes (I'm assuming that's where you picked up the Autocad like lines ). However, that glarring white in the middle line and on the far right of the wp is exceedingly tiring to mine eye. I figure if you'd gone, like, 10% darker. Maybe just towards blue, or something, it would have worked ou much better. As a more general rule, I've found it works better to keep the white on the left side of a wallpaper, where people tend to shunt their icons, anyway.

Meanwhile, I really do have to have you burn those dingbats onto a CD for me next time I swing by the lab...they really -are- quite nifty.
